Porcelain veneers are a great option for patients who have damaged teeth and want to restore their smile. It is also suitable for patients who have existing composite veneers and want to upgrade to porcelain for a more durable smile makeover. 

The process

1. Full case assessment:
   You initial consultation will allow the Dentist to get a full picture of your oral health. At this appointment we will discuss your smile goals, address your concerns, and put together a tailored treatment plan that will deliver the smile of your dreams. If you require any stabilisation work such as fillings, complex hygiene treatments or root canal then we undertake this before any cosmetic work takes place.
2. Designing your Smile
   We take a digital scan of your mouth, and clinical photos and video to send to our Smile Design team. Using facially driven principals, and based on your requirements they will create a bespoke smile to suit you and only you. This is then sent to your dentist for approval and we will carry out a “mock up” appointment.
3. Smile Trial:
   The mock up allows you to try your smile before we start your final treatment. At this appointment you can make any changes to the smile design to ensure it is perfect!
4. Test Drive your new Teeth:
   Once the mock up is approved then we will start the veneers process. If you have any existing composite veneers these will be removed and we will carry out the minimal tooth preparation. This is a pain free process, and we will retain as much of your natural tooth as possible. After this we will give you “temporary teeth” based on your new smile design - this gives you a further opportunity to test drive your teeth before the final veneers appointment.
5. The Final appointment 
   On the day of your final appointment we will remove your temporary teeth and fit your final veneers. We only use the best materials so you can feel confident you are getting a healthy and long-lasting smile makeover. You are then invited back for a review appointment to make sure everything is perfect and take your final photos.
